Chiefs announced last month they had parted ways with the duo as they look to move in a different direction, but have yet to name their successor.
The pair are in high demand, though, with both on the verge of joining rival top-flight clubs in the coming days, according to various media reports.
There have been reports that Chiefs are closing in on the signing of coach Fernando Da Cruz, who was briefly assistant coach when Nasreddine Nabi arrived in July 2024, but left shortly afterwards.
He has experience of coaching in France and Belgium, but has kept a low profile since his Chiefs departure.
Burundi coach Kaze has been in talks for some time with Sekhukhune United as they seek a permanent replacement for Eric Tinkler.
Sekhukhune finished the campaign in fifth place last season and will be looking to build on that. Too many draws (11) perhaps cost them a higher placing.
The role at Chiefs was a first head coach position for Kaze as he, along with Ben Youssef, stepped up from the assistant coach positions when Nabi left the club at the start of the campaign.
Ben Youssef is reportedly in talks with Durban City as they look to end a chaotic run of coaching appointments that still yielded a top-half finish last season and the Nedbank Cup, which will see them play in the CAF Confederation Cup in the coming campaign.
City had Gavin Hunt, Sinethemba Badela and Pitso Dladla all in charge last season and are now looking for some stability.
The Chiefs co-coach role was also a first for Ben Youssef in that position, though he does have extensive experience as an assistant at clubs such as Club Africain in Tunisia and AS FAR in Morocco, to name just a few.
The 37-year-old Tunisian, like Kaze, is a CAF A Licence holder, which would allow him to lead City in CAF interclub football.
Both are inexperienced as head coaches, but do at least know the league, having been at Chiefs since the start of the 2024/25 campaign, even if as assistant coaches.
