04:50 CET - World number one Carlos Alcaraz is 16-0 in 2026 thanks to a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Cameron Norrie. The Spaniard will play in the semi-finals of Indian Wells for the fifth year in a row, his best streak of any major. He hit 27 winners to Norrie's 15, as he moves on to face Daniil Medvedev in the next round.
03:00 CET - Daniil Medvedev has taken down the defending champion Jack Draper, with the world number 11 prevailing 6-1, 7-5. The former US Open winner did not suffer a break of serve throughout the 77-minute contest, breaking the Brit at 6-5 and managed to serve it out. Up next for Medvedev is the winner of the last match between Carlos Alcaraz and Cameron Norrie.
02:40 CET - Elena Rybakina is the last woman into the semi-finals at Indian Wells after beating Jessica Pegula 6-1, 7-6 (4). The third seed converted three of four break chances, winning five of her six service points in the second set tiebreak to progress. She will face Elina Svitolina next.
01:20 CET - Elina Svitolina's strong start to 2026 continues with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 win over Iga Swiatek to make the semi-finals of Indian Wells. The Ukrainian converted five of her 11 break point opportunities, breaking the world number two in the penultimate service game before closing it out.
22:53 CET - Linda Noskova has ended the fairytale run of qualifier Talia Gibson, fending off the Australian 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 to reach just her second WTA 1000 semi-final.
The Czech hit 13 aces, but also had 10 double faults, yet her big-hitting game overpowered Gibson in the end, who was playing her seventh match of the tournament.
Noskova will now face Aryna Sabalenka in the semi-finals, a match that will certainly see a lot of ball-crushing.
22:32 CET - Jannik Sinner has produced a truly astonishing performance against Learner Tien, dismantling the 20-year-old American 6-1, 6-2 in just over an hour.
It was far from a bad performance from Tien, but he just could not live with the level of the world number two, whose ball-striking was from another planet.
In his third Indian Wells semi, he will face Alexander Zverev. Sinner leads the head-to-head 6-4, but more importantly, he has won their last five meetings.
21:06 CET - Aryna Sabalenka was given a really good test by 19-year-old Victoria Mboko, but her class eventually told as she won 7-6(0), 6-4 to return to the semi-finals for a fourth year in a row.
Despite an extremely tight first set on paper, it always felt like Sabalenka was in control, and the world number one continued her incredible tiebreak record in the process. Additionally, for the first time in her career, she won a tiebreak without dropping a single point, according to Opta.
After falling in the final last year, Sabalenka will want to go one step further to win her maiden title in California, and either Linda Noskova or qualifier Talia Gibson awaits.
20:36 CET - Alexander Zverev has put in a clinical performance at Indian Wells to reach the semi-finals for the very first time, defeating Arthur Fils 6-2, 6-3 in just under an hour and 25 minutes to progress.
It was a super strong display from the German against his French opponent, who has enjoyed a good run in California after returning from a lengthy injury layoff recently.
With the win, Zverev has now reached the semi-finals at every single current Masters 1000 event. Only Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have done that, so he joins excellent company.
He will face the winner of Jannik Sinner and Learner Tien next.
18:53 CET - We are just minutes away from the players taking to court, and you can follow the first two matches of the day below:
Aryna Sabalenka vs Victoria Mboko
Alexander Zverev vs Arthur Fils
17:00 CET - A blockbuster day of quarter-finals is ahead of us, with the scorching Californian sun beating down on the courts of Indian Wells.
Play gets underway at 19:00 CET, as Aryna Sabalenka continues her quest for a maiden Indian Wells title, as she comes up against the supreme teen talent Victoria Mboko.
The pair have faced off just once before, with Sabalenka winning at the Australian Open 6-1, 7-6(1). However, Mboko continues to go from strength to strength, and after thrashing Amanda Anisimova in the last 16, she will be hoping to cause another upset.
That is followed by a meeting between Linda Noskova and 21-year-old qualifier Talia Gibson, before two-time champion Iga Swiatek looks to continue her excellent performances at this tournament against the in-form Elina Svitolina.
Overnight, Australian Open champion Elena Rybakina takes on Jessica Pegula in a clash between two stars playing some fabulous tennis right now.
Rybakina leads the head-to-head 4-3, but has won their last three meetings, including at Melbourne at the start of the year. The last time Pegula beat Rybakina was back in 2023.

Over on the men's side of the tournament, Alexander Zverev faces young gun Arthur Fils, who continues to shine on his return from injury. The pair have been involved in some high-quality contests before, so expect more of the same.
Another improving young star, Learner Tien, then has a huge test against world number two Jannik Sinner. Their only previous match came in the Beijing final, which Sinner won in a one-sided affair.
Jack Draper, who was involved in arguably the best match of 2026 so far against Novak Djokovic less than 24 hours ago, will have to recover quickly when he faces Daniil Medvedev in the night session.
Finally, world number one and two-time champion Carlos Alcaraz comes up against Cameron Norrie. Interestingly, the Brit has caused Alcaraz problems before, beating the Spaniard three times - including in their last meeting in Paris.
However, conditions are completely different at Indian Wells, and Alcaraz will be the big favourite.
