The talented defensive back out of Baltimore, Maryland's prestigious St. Frances Academy high school chose the Crimson Tide over other SEC powerhouses, including Auburn, Georgia, and Texas A&M, along with Oregon out of the BIG 10 conference.
Edwards was the No. 23 recruit in the nation and the No. 2 safety behind Bralan Womack, who is still uncommitted.
Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing in at 210 pounds, Edwards posted 92 tackles, 17 tackles for loss, six pass deflections, and three forced fumbles last season as part of one of the nation's best high school football defences.
Ironically enough, the Baltimore safety draws comparison to former Georgia Bulldogs safety Malaki Starks, who was selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft by none other than the Baltimore Ravens.
Edwards will be joining Alabama's No. 1 ranked 2026 recruiting class, along with other five-star recruits that include recent commit Xavier Griffin (LB), Jorden Edmonds (CB), and Ezavier Crowell (RB).
