The Kansas Jayhawks became the first team in FBS history with a losing record to win three straight games against ranked opponents, beating the 16th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday.

Kansas topped Colorado by 16 in their 37-21 victory on Saturday, led by running back Devin Neal who had a whopping 207 rushing yards on 37 carries, 80 receiving yards, and four total touchdowns. Neal put the Jayhawks on the board first and there was no looking back.

Kansas quarterback Jalon Daniels went 14 of 21 passing with 189 yards, one touchdown, and 72 rushing yards on six carries. The Jayhawks put up 520 total yards of offence to Colorado's 308, along with 40:11 of possession time to the Buffaloes' 19:49.

This now marks Kansas' third straight win against a ranked opponent, with the previous two victories coming against 14th-ranked BYU and 22nd-ranked Iowa State. The Jayhawks are currently 5-6 on the year and will look to end their season with a .500 record as they take on Baylor next Saturday, November 30th.

Colorado quarterback Shadeur Sanders went 23 of 29 passing with 266 yards and three touchdowns through the air. Sanders also led the team in rushing with just four measly carries for 26 yards, showcasing that the team was constantly playing catch-up with Kansas.

Star wide receiver Travis Hunter had eight receptions for 125 yards and two touchdowns, continuing his Heisman campaign against Boise State's running back Ashton Jeanty

This game marks the Buaffloes' first loss to a team with a losing record this season, their third overall, deterring their Big 12 title hopes. Their final game of the regular season will be at home against Oklahoma State on Friday, November 29th.
