The Carolina Panthers are bringing back veteran quarterback Andy Dalton (37) for another couple of seasons after agreeing to a two-year deal on Tuesday.

According to reports by ESPN, the deal guarantees $6 million and is worth $8 million with up to $10 million in possible incentives.

The 37-year-old veteran will more than likely remain the backup for the team's young rising star quarterback Bryce Young, reprising his role from this past season.

In the past two seasons Dalton has spent with Carolina, the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback has thrown for just 1,350 yards, nine touchdowns, and six interceptions in nine games (six starts) with a 1-5 record.

Carolina finished the 2024 season with a 5-12 record. They currently have the 8th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft that will take place in Green Bay, Wisconsin from April 24th to April 26th.
