The Dallas Cowboys originally feared that offensive tackle Tyler Guyton (24) tore his ACL during camp on Monday, but the MRI revealed it's a bone fracture.

Guyton will officially be out for four to six weeks, avoiding what would've been a season-ending injury.

The 29th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft had a rough go at his rookie year this past season for the Cowboys

Guyton committed 18 penalties last season, which ranked 11th most among qualified tackles. He allowed six sacks and 26 quarterback pressures in 668 snaps last season, leaving him with a 49.4 overall grade.

Guyton took all of his snaps last season at the left tackle position, which will now be a major hole for the Cowboys in the upcoming year.

Former 2023 fifth-round pick Asim Richards will step up into the role for now until Guyton returns.
