Jalen Carter was ejected from Thursday's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys for spitting at Cowboys QB Dak Prescott before the ball was snapped.
In an interview with 94 WIP radio in Philadelphia, Sirianni said the team should know more about any possible discipline or punishment for Carter later this week.
"You are constantly trying to help guys not only become better football players but better men. I think that's more important. You are always doing what's best for the team and for those guys in every moment," said Sirianni.
Carter apologised for his actions after the Cowboys game, which the Eagles won 24-20. "It was a mistake that happened on my side. It won't happen again," Carter said.
"I feel bad for just my teammates and fans out there. I'm doing it for them. I'm doing it for my family, also. But the fans, they showed the most love."
Sirianni continued to speak highly of the Eagles and their stance on discipline.
"Accountability is so big with our organization. If you brush by mistakes, if you don't dive into mistakes, those mistakes will linger. I'm not only talking about that incident. I'm talking about everything. There's a death by inches when you don't address mistakes, don't correct mistakes, hold people accountable. That's myself too, that's coaches."
Any team discipline towards Carter will be kept in-house and not made public, Sirianni said on Monday.
