The Buffalo Bills signed running back James Cook to a four-year, $48 million contract extension on Wednesday.
Cook's new deal comes with $30 million in guaranteed money as the standout back will now be with the Bills through the 2029 season.
This is now the sixth player the Bills have signed to a big extension this offseason. Others include quarterback Josh Allen (six years, $330 million), cornerback Christian Benford (four years, $76 million), defensive end Gregory Rousseau (four years, $80 million), linebacker Terrell Bernard (four years, $50 million), and wide receiver Khalil Shakir (four years, $53 million).
Cook posted 1,267 total yards (1,006 rushing) and 18 touchdowns last season for the Bills. His 16 rushing touchdowns led the entire NFL during the 2024 season.
