The Philadelphia Eagles will be without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (26) due to a concussion, leaving backup Kenny Pickett (26) with the start for Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Hurts continues to remain in concussion protocol after exiting the team's past game against the Washington Commanders. Pickett, on the other hand, was a full participant in Thursday's practice despite dealing with a rib injury.

"It is what it is. Just something I'm going to have to deal with," said Pickett in regards to trying on different padding. "So, yeah, I'll be ready to go for Sunday."

"I think after a couple more days, getting a chance to kind of rest it a little bit more, go do some rehab, I'll be good for Sunday," said Pickett.

The Eagles (12-3) have a chance to clinch their second NFC East title in the past three years with a win on Sunday. Philly still has an open chance to clinch the top seed in the NFC but will need some help with just two games remaining.

The team did sign quarterback Ian Book to the practice squad this week. But fans can anticipate former sixth-round pick Tanner McKee to serve as Pickett's backup on Sunday.
