Las Vegas Raiders defensive end and star player Maxx Crosby (27) will miss the team's remaining games after it was announced on Saturday he will be receiving ankle surgery.

The three-time Pro Bowl defensive end took to Instagram to make the announcement.

Crosby ends his 2024 campaign with 7.5 sacks and 17 tackles for a loss, tied for best in the league with Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt. The veteran defensive end was also tied with the most pass deflections by defensive end this year with five.

Crosby has two more years left on his four-year, $94 million contract before becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2027. He will have a cap hit of $28.2 million in 2025 and $24.8 million in 2026.

The Texas native has spent all six years of his career with the Raiders after being drafted to the team in 2019, their last season in Oakland before moving to Las Vegas.

In his six years, Crosby has recorded 366 tackles, 105 tackles for loss, 59.5 sacks, 23 pass deflections, and nine forced fumbles.
