Chicago Cubs left fielder Seiya Suzuki became the first player in Major League Baseball to reach 50 RBI (runs batted in) this season!

Suzuki put up a two-run single in his second at-bat on Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies

The Japanese native now how 14 home runs on top of his 50 RBI while slashing .273/.332/.903 this season.

Suzuki needs just 25 more RBI to set a single-season career high and 24 more to leap last year's 74.

The 30-year-old from Arakawa, Japan, is proving to be another spark in a Cubs lineup that seems to put on a show every single night.

Chicago is currently first in the NL Central with a 33-21 record (prior to tonight's game) while the Rockies possess the worst record in baseball at 9-45.
