Miami Marlins All-Star outfielder Kyle Stowers is expected the miss multiple weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade-1 left side strain, according to Manager Clayton McCullough.
Stowers missed time earlier this season due to a hand injury.
The 27-year-old has been on a tear this season, slashing .288/.368/.544 with 25 home runs and 73 RBI through 117 games.
He took part in the first-ever MLB All-Star home run face-off in which he hit a homer on three attempts that helped lift the National League to a win (read more here).
Stowers was originally acquired via a trade halfway through the 2024 season that sent starting pitcher Trevor Rogers to the Baltimore Orioles. Since then, he's been a cornerstone for the Marlins future.
The Marlins are 58-65 on the season, leaving them with just 39 games left on their schedule as they sit seven games back of a Wild Card spot.
