New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor (31) reached 200 career stolen bases during Saturday's matchup against the Kansas City Royals.

Lindor is now just one of nine active players to reach the 200 mark and now has 15 stolen bases on the year, needing another 15 the rest of the year to surpass his 29 from last year. The Mets ended up winning the matchup 3-1, improving to 55-41 on the season.

The other eight players included: Ronald Acuna Jr. (200, Atlanta Braves), Mike Trout (214, Los Angeles Angels), Christian Yelich (219 - Milwaukee Brewers), Andrew McCutchen (220 - Pittsburgh Pirates), Trea Turner (303 - Philadelphia Phillies), Jose Altuve (321 - Houston Astros), and Starling Marte (359 - New York Mets).

The now five-time All-Star will be representing the Mets during the 2025 All-Star Game as he continues to be one of the game's best shortstops.

Lindor is slashing .263/.334/.463  on the year with 19 home runs (most among shortstops) and 54 RBI (fourth among shortstops).

Also known as "Mr. Smile", the two-time Gold Glover and four-time Silver Slugger, currently in his 11th season, was originally drafted eighth overall by the then-Cleveland Indians during the 2011 MLB Draft.

He spent the first six years of his career with Cleveland after making his debut in 2015, putting up a .300+ average his first two seasons, then leading the league in runs in 2018.

Lindor has only hit below .270 on a season three times in his career, making him one of the most consistent hitters in all of baseball since his debut.

The veteran is currently in his fourth year of his 10-year, $341 million deal with the Mets, in which he will average, after this year, just over $32.1 million per season before ultimately becoming an unrestricted free agent in 2032 - when Lindor will be 38 years old.
