The Chicago Bears signed free agent safety Coby Bryant to a three-year, $40 million deal and linebacker Devin Bush to a three-year, $30 million deal on Monday.

Bryant, who will be 27 at the start of the season, was a standout for the Seattle Seahawks defense the past two seasons. He's recorded at least 65 tackles, six pass deflections, three interceptions, and one forced fumble in each year, respectively.

Opposing quarterbacks had just a 78.4 passer rating when targeting Byrant in coverage this past season - the second lowest among all safeties. The former fourth-round pick of the 2022 NFL Draft has only missed two games over the past two seasons and hasn't committed a single penalty in each of the last three.

As for Bush,  27, he's coming off a career year with the Cleveland Browns. The soon-to-be eight-year veteran posted a career high 125 tackles, tied his career-high with two sacks, set a new career-high eight pass deflections, which doubled his previous best, and had three interceptions - he only had two the previous six years and both of them came during his rookie year in 2019.

Bush also led the entire league with 164 interception return yards and two pick-sixes, earning him the fourth-best coverage grade (80.4) of 88 qualified linebackers last season and also the eighth-best run defense grade (87.3).

The team also signed linebacker D'Marco Jackson to a two-year, $7.5 million deal
