The Cincinnati Reds acquired starting pitcher Zack Littell from the Tampa Bay Rays as part of a three-team trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
In return, the Rays are receiving (C) Hunter Feduccia and (P) Brian Van Belle. The Dodgers are receiving (P) Adam Serwinowski, (P) Paul Gervase, and (C) Ben Rortvedt.
Littell has been having a solid year for the Rays, tossing a 3.58 earned run average in 22 starts. The 29-year-old righty has thrown 89 strikeouts and given up 21 walks and 53 earned runs on 128 hits in 133.1 innings.
His 1.12 WHIP is the lowest of his career while opponents are still batting .252 against Littell - the lowest since the Rays converted him into a start in 2023.
Littell is under a one-year contract and will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
