The Philadelphia Eagles signed wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown to a one-year deal on Tuesday that's worth up to $6.5 million, according to multiple NFL insiders.

Brown, 28, will be joining his third team in four years after spending the previous two with the Kansas City Chiefs and 2023 with the Arizona Cardinals. The vet is coming off a bounce-back year after missing out on most of the 2024 season due to undergoing surgery on a sternoclavicular joint dislocation in his shoulder.

He posted 587 receiving yards and five touchdowns while averaging 12.0 yards per reception - his best season since 2022.

Brown was originally selected 25th overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens, where he spent the first three years of his career and put up his lone 1,000-yard season (2021). Before the 2022 season, Brown requested a trade from the Ravens, and they sent him off to Arizona.

He had a down year, putting up 709 yards with three touchdowns, and has yet to come close to his 1,008-yard season with Baltimore. Now, he'll be joining a Philadelphia Eagles offense that ranked 23rd in passing yards per game (194.3).

However, both of the Eagles' star receivers, A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, posted over 1,000 yards last season as the team finished 11-6 with a Wild Card exit in the playoffs.
