What were the best uniforms worn around the world in 2024? This year's ranking is made up of five kits from Adidas, three from Nike, two from Puma and another five from different suppliers.

This year's winners are based on the Flashscore evaluation, as well as the quantity and quality of interaction the shirt launches have had on the clubs' social networks and specialised uniform websites.

Here are the best shirts that took to the pitch in 2024:

This year Argentina wore a shirt that only world champions can wear.

Our favourite kit of the year is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the partnership between Adidas and Argentina, who first teamed up at the 1974 World Cup.

The Argentinians debuted the special shirt on November 19th against Peru in a World Cup qualifier.

Juventus (Third)

Adidas supplies most of the shirts in this year's ranking because of the marvellous retro line that the German manufacturer launched with its old Trefoil logo.

This is the case with Juve's No. 3 shirt, which recalls the best days of the French national team.

AC Milan (Commemorative)

You can feel the weight of this Milan kit from afar, folks.

The Puma garment commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Milanese club and features the first rossonero emblem on the chest. The team wore it on the 15th in a 0-0 draw against Genoa in the Italian league.

Vasco (Home)

The union between Kappa and Vasco is reminiscent of the happy marriage between the two at the beginning of the 21st century, when the team from Rio was still scaring everyone.

With a more horizontal stripe than the reserve shirt, the team's black shirt is a tribute to the mantle of Roberto Dinamite, the club's great idol who made history in Brazilian football at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s.

Germany (Home)

The incandescent starting shirt for Euro 2024 was not lucky for the hosts. However, it was an absolute sell-out and revived the Mannschaft's tricolour spirit.

This is one of the last Adidas uniforms for the home team, as from 2027 Germany will wear Nike.

Latina Calcio (Home)

The shirt of Latina Calcio, a club fighting to stay out of the Italian Serie C, is the big surprise in this ranking.

Inspired by Greek mythology, their shirt is the first ever made by Ezeta for a professional team. The city of Latina is in the Lazio region, close to an island that appears in Homer's classic "Odyssey".

Colombia (Commemorative)

The Colombian national team has been happy with Adidas. This special jersey for the team's centenary was worn for the first time in October, in a qualifying match against Chile.

The design mimics the one worn by Colombia in the 1945 South American Championship.

Sporting (Home)

We don't know why Nike decided to add a black layer to the traditional Sporting Lisboa stripes of star player Gyokeres. The idea is unorthodox, but sensational.

The model has also been lucky for the Lisbon club this season.

Barcelona (Home)

Nike hadn't got the Barça model right since the turn of the century! The company took inspiration from the fantastic centenary team led by Rivaldo to get it right again.

Sober colours and the emblem in the right place. Too bad the Spotify logo doesn't help.

Botafogo (Home)

Botafogo's first-choice player made it into our ranking last year. This season, Reebok got it right with all three kits it made for the Rio de Janeiro team: the first team kit is even better than the 2023 kit, the white reserve kit is impeccable and even the all-black third kit is also worthy of wearing on the next date.

This trio of uniforms is immortalised, as they adorned the only Libertadores-winning team in the club's history.

Slavia Prague (Home)

The second star-studded team on our list. Sponsored by Puma since 2019, Slavia usually offer great shirts every year and the 2024/25 version is simple and powerful.

However, don't confuse the Czech team's star with Botafogo's - Slavia's is inverted like a pentagram and doesn't live inside a shield.

Club America (Home and Away)

Club America are in our ranking due to the combo of their main shirts supplied by Nike. The first team shirt is a pale yellow colour reminiscent of the club's classic shirt, while the reserve blue shirt features the map of Latin America.

The club won the Mexican championship three times in December.

Napoli (Home)

Napoli wear Armani, so it's safe to say that the team plays in style.

The blue of the uniform is the best possible blue, and it also has an impeccable collar and a tiny Neapolitan emblem. Maradona would sign it.

Bremen's first team kit is one of the masterpieces of Hummel, who have been making odes to the 1990s.

It's silky, full of nuance, has the team crest in the middle of the chest and smells of roots football.

Manchester United (Third)

Another classic from Adidas' Trefoil line, which has finally discovered that we love retro uniforms.

United's No. 3 shirt is reminiscent of Sao Paulo's typical main kit (which, manufactured by New Balance, was also great this year).
