The Danish visitors set off with plenty of speed in their attacking play, garnished with a terrific accuracy in their finishing. 11 of the team's first 12 shot attempts found the back of the net to give them an 11-9 lead halfway through the half.
Left winger Frederik Bjerre, who is having a strong season, was once again a dominating figure for the Danes as he scored five goals in the first half from as many attempts.
The Danish scoring rate dropped at the start of the second half, and Wisla Plock did not waste any time taking advantage of this. Nine minutes after the break, the Poles were level at 20-20 as Wisla's French international star Melvyn Richardson in particular began to make an impact.

However, the home side was far from down and out, and with 20 seconds left, they restored parity thanks to an equalizer from Gergo Fazekas. Still, the Danes had the last laugh as right winger Oskar Vind scored from a tight angle with a few seconds left on the clock to set off wild celebrations in the Danish camp.
