She came to Team Esbjerg as an international talent and has further developed her skills by establishing herself in the national team and among the world's best goalkeepers. Anna Kristensen entered into a three-year agreement with Team Esbjerg with effect from 1 July 2023, but the then Viborg HK player joined almost six months earlier, when the club urgently needed a goalkeeper due to injury and pregnancy.
She has helped to win two Danish championships, three cup titles, the Super Cup, and two bronze medals in the EHF Champions League Final4.
Her international career includes 49 matches for Denmark before the upcoming World Championships in the end of November.
