Pittsburgh Penguins legend and Team Canada's captain Sidney Crosby (37) will play in the 4 Nations Face-Off opener on Wednesday against Sweden despite dealing with an arm injury.

Crosby sat out the final two games for the Penguins leading up to the 4 Nations Face-off amidst concerns that he wouldn't be able to play. But Canada's lead man let everyone know that he's raring and ready to go.

Crosby was seen practising on a line with teammates Mark Stone and Nathan MacKinnon ahead of Wednesday's matchup. He was also practising on a ferocious power play unit that consisted of Connor McDavid, Cale Makar, Sam Reinart, and MacKinnon.

Due to the NHL not participating in the 2018 and 2022 Olympics, Crosby and McDavid will skate together for Team Canada for the first time ever.

Canada are currently the favourite to win the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off at +145 odds while the U.S. (+500) are second, Sweden (+420) third, and Finland (+1000) as the heavy underdog, according to Fan Duel Sportsbook.

Team Canada (-1.5) are favorites to win over Team Sweden for Wednesday's matchup with the over/under set at 5.5 as of Monday night.
