It was a dramatic Saturday in the Stanley Cup playoffs as one team had to win to avoid being eliminated. A look back at all three games.

Florida Panthers 1-5 Tampa Bay Lightning

The Tampa Bay Lightning got their first win of the series as they topped the Florida Panthers 5-1 away.

They had to do so coming from behind, as Matthew Tkachuk got the hosts in front 2:43 into the game. Brayden Point was on point to tie things up eight and a half minutes later, which was how things would be heading into intermission.

It took the Lightning more than 13 minutes into the second to grab the lead as Nick Paul took his opportunity with aplomb, but the Panthers still had plenty of time to return the match to parity. Unfortunately for them, they just could not find a way through; they amassed 54 shots to Tampa's 31, but there was no way through for them.

The Bolts wrapped up the game in the third period through Jake Guentzel, Luke Glendening, and Anthony Cirelli.

The teams will reconvene on Monday night with Florida's series lead being cut in half. They will want to grab another home win to put themselves in full command of the tie before their third game in Tampa on Wednesday night.

Ottawa Senators 4-3 Toronto Maple Leafs (OT)

Going into game four of their series, the Ottawa Senators had their backs against the walls. Down 3-0, they were already playing an elimination match. Yet, they gave the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs all they could manage. Their reward? A key 4-3 overtime win to extend the series just a bit longer.

Tim Stuntzle and Shane Pinto struck within five minutes of each other to give the Senators a lead in the first period. John Tavares would get one back for the Leafs just before the break, with Matthew Knies adding an equaliser midway through the second frame.

Ottawa did go back in front via David Perron seven and a half minutes into the final period. However, Oliver Ekman-Larsson tied things back up with a little less than five minutes left.

Patience was needed from the Senators, as they were once again pegged back. Despite being outshot 53 to 46, they found a way 17:42 into the first overtime period through Jake Sanderson to avoid getting swept by the Leafs.

Game five will be on Tuesday in Toronto, as the Buds look to finish off their Ontarian rivals at the second time of asking.

Minnesota Wild 3-4 Las Vegas Golden Knights (OT)

A dramatic back-and-forth encounter in Minneapolis went the Las Vegas Golden Knights' way with a 4-3 win to nod the series up at two.

Shea Theodore's power-play goal at 6:47 put the guests ahead early. Four minutes later though, Marco Rossi levelled the score, which was how it would be going into intermission.

Marcus Foligno then gave Minnesota their first lead of the night 84 seconds after the pause. It took Vegas until the 4:50 point of the third frame to find their response through Nicolas Roy.

Tomas Hertl put the Golden Knights in front with 10 minutes left in regulation. It would not take Jake Spurgeon very long to get the Wild back on level terms, scoring less than a minute later.

Still, Las Vegas got their winner towards the end of the first overtime session as Ivan Barbashev hit the game winner. That goal could be crucial in this series as it is now 2-2, with all four matches ending in wins for the away team.

Game five is on Tuesday in Las Vegas, with the winner going into Thursday's six game in Minnesota with the chance to advance.

Colorado Avalanche 4-0 Dallas Stars

Colorado Avalanche stormed to a 4-0 win over the Dallas Stars to level the series up at two victories a piece.

They went ahead 12 minutes into the opening period through Logan O'Connor and then doubled their lead via Nathan McKinnon.

Two further goals from Gabriel Landeskog and Samuel Girard without reply wrapped up a win that brought them back on level terms.
