Two overtime losses in their previous three had seen Skelleftea lose ground on the top two over the past 10 days, but they returned to form in style with a 4-0 win over Linkoping.
It took time for the visitors to get going, but once Andreas Johnson got them off the mark early in the second period, there was no holding them back. Mikkel Aagaard and Oscar Lindberg added two more over the next five minutes, then Aagaard's second of the match completed the scoring in the third.
Strauss Mann made 18 saves between the pipes, keeping out a Linkoping side who sit 10th with four losses on the bounce. Nine wins from 15 has helped Skelleftea to 29 points so far.
Skelleftea remain seven points shy of leaders Frolunda, who picked up a fifth league win in a row and seventh in all competitions by breezing past Lulea 3-0 away from home.
The Gothenburg side not only scored a goal in each period, but they came from the same man - Jere Innala scored midway through the first and third periods and notched a powerplay goal early in the second period in between, while Tobias Normann saved all 17 shots that came his way.
Champions Lulea sit in eighth place following a second loss in their last three matches.
Rogle not only recorded the biggest shutout win but saw their goaltender make the most saves in doing so - Arvid Holm made 30 saves as his side beat bottom side HV 71 5-0.
Fredrik Olofsson and Isac Solberg had put the visitors in control just past the midpoint in the match, then two strikes from Karson Kuhlman either side of the 40-minute mark wrapped up the win, before Dennis Everberg added a fifth late on.
It's four wins in succession for Rogle, keeping them two points behind the leaders, while HV 71 remain four points worse off than the three sides ahead of them.
For the second round in a row, all but one of the results went according to the standings, which was good news for HV 71 as they didn't lose further ground on Malmo, who lost 4-2 to Vaxjo, Leksand, who were beaten 3-1 by Djurgarden, and Brynas, who were also defeated 3-1 against Farjestad.
The only side to beat a team above them in the table were Orebro, who moved up to ninth with a 3-1 win at seventh-placed Timra.
