The 17th week (July 28th to August 3rd) of the 2025 MLB season is over with and this time we're giving you the 15 best highlights!

Usually, we would categorize highlights into history, walk-offs, home runs, pitching, and fielding. But this time, we are keeping it concise to bring you the best of the best.

So without further ado, here are the Top 15 MLB highlights for Week 17 of the season!

15. J.P. Crawford walk-off

Let's get the highlights going with a little walk-off action in Seattle!

14. Taylor Ward walk-off

The Los Angeles Angels celebrated last week after Taylor Ward earned his third career walk-off home run!

13. Miami Marlins walk-off

In what could be considered one of the best games of the year, the Miami Marlins walked one off against the Yankees in one of the most hilarious ways possible - but it got the job done, right?

Marlins star Kyle Stowers also hit a grand slam in this game that helped that team get the win (watch here).

12. Graham Pauley's insane throw

Even though it wasn't necessary Ben Hamilton running to first, Pauley's throw from foul territory here without a single bounce deserves some praise!

11. Bryan Reynolds

"Never tell me the odds!" - Han Solo - Bryan Reynolds (probably).

10. Ben Williamson diving play

Not only did Williamson make an incredible diving stop on the hot corner, but hustled for the out to end the inning!

9. Riley Greene 1.0

It feels like a weekly highlights article can't be published without Riley Greene at this point. The Tigers' left fielder continues to amaze every week with glove!

8. Riley Greene 2.0

Oh, by the way, Greene had another highlight in the field from this past week that even impressed Tigers ace Tarik Skubal!

7. Riley Greene 3.0

Yeah, we're still not done here. Greene had three highlights this week and this catch is undoubtedly his best one!

Both players were okay after the collision.

6. Oneil Cruz laser throw

Last month, we saw Atlanta Braves superstar Ronald Acuna Jr. laser one of the greatest throws in modern baseball. Well, Cruz did something very similar last week with this frozen rope to third!

Cruz also hit a massive Grand Slam in this game as well (watch here).

5. Cedric Mullins' home run robbery

The Baltimore Orioles' center field wall is about seven feet tall. Mullins is five-foot-nine and he made sure to pull all of his hops into this ridiculous home run robbery!

4. Matt Vierling's concentration

Catching a ball while running into the wall is no easy feat. But handling a catch with this level of concentration is one heck of a play from Vierling!

3. Cedric Mullins 2.0

Thought the previously highlight with Mullins was insane? Well, the centerfielder made sure to give the Orioles fans one more highlight for the road before he was traded to the New York Mets, one that is definitely in the running for Catch of the Year!

It is criminal that he doesn't have a Gold Glove award yet when he's been doing this his entire career.

2. Mike Yastrzemski's wild week

Yaz not only hit a home run in his first game with the Royals (watch here) after being traded at the MLB deadline, but he made sure to give the San Francisco Giants fans one last highlight with this insane leaping grab!

1. Rockies' historic comeback

The Colorado Rockies became the first team in MLB history to win a game after giving up 15+ runs, 9+ runs in an inning, and facing a 9+ run deficit. Watch all the highlights from one of the craziest games in years!

A lot of historic moments and milestones were achieved this week, including:

- Pete Alonso's 250th career home run (watch here)

- Julio Rodriguez's historic 100th home run (watch here)

- Framber Valdez's 1,000th strikeout (watch here)

- Jacob DeGrom becomes the fastest pitcher in history to reach 1,800 strikeouts (watch here).

- Randy Arozarena becomes the 10th player in MLB history with five straight seasons of 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases (watch here).

- Yu Darvish now holds the record with the most combined wins for a Japanese-born MLB pitcher (watch here).

That's it from this week's highlights! Tune in again next week for amazing plays and historic moments!
