It's another mouthwatering weekend of sport, with plenty of crucial football matches as the domestic season draws to a close as well as the final of the prestigious World Snooker Championship.

Saturday, May 3rd

RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich - 15:30 CET

Harry Kane is arguably the greatest footballer ever to have never won a trophy - no offence, Antonio Di Natale - but the Bayern Munich striker could finally get his hands on one this weekend with the Bundesliga title within touching distance.

Bayern head into their match with RB Leipzig knowing that they'll be national champions for the 33rd time if they win, returning to the summit of German football after losing out to Bayer Leverkusen last season and ending one of the most famous trophy droughts in the sport's history.

Claiming the all-important three points won't be easy for Vincent Kompany's side though. With RB Leipzig locked in a tight battle for Champions League qualification themselves, they won't be handing out any favours.

Frustratingly for Kane, his fate isn't in his own hands, with the Englishman suspended for the match, but he won't much care if those hands end up lifting the Meisterschale come the end of the day.

World Snooker Championship final - 14:00 CET

Snooker's most prestigious tournament reaches its conclusion on Sunday and Monday, with China's Zhao Xintong taking on either world number one Judd Trump or three-time winner Mark Williams in the showpiece event.

Zhao dismantled the great Ronnie O'Sullivan in a devastating semi-final performance on Friday, as the 2021 UK Championship winner continued his superb form since returning from a two-year suspension for match-fixing.

Meeting the talented 28-year-old in the final will be either Trump or Williams, who resume their hard-fought clash on Saturday morning with the scores locked at 8-8.

Trump will be hoping to add a second world title to his glittering resume, while Williams - who has recently celebrated his 50th birthday - is targeting a fourth crown in Sheffield.

It promises to be a thrilling weekend at the Crucible, so make sure you tune in!

Club Brugge vs Anderlecht, Belgian Cup final - 18:00 CET

For the fourth time, Club Brugge and Anderlecht will meet in the Belgian Cup final. A decade on from Blauw-Zwart's late goal to break purple and white hearts, the sides will face off again at the national stadium in Brussels.

Club will be hoping to achieve their third domestic double. After a dominant win on Thursday in the Battle of Flanders against Gent to take the league lead, the record cup winners will feel confident about their chances heading into this match.

Having won the last five head-to-heads, including three from this term, Nicky Hayen's men will be considered the favourites for the match.

More is arguably on the line for Anderlecht in this clash between Belgium's two most successful clubs. Paars-Wit cannot finish higher than fourth in the league, meaning that a cup success - which would be their first since 2008 - is the only way to save what has to be considered a disappointing season.

It would also give the club a spot in the Europa League playoff round, something that would come in handy.

Bologna vs Juventus - 20:45 CET

The battle for Europe has been heating up across Europe, but no game this weekend is full of narrative than Juventus' trip to Bologna on Sunday.

The pair are separated by just a point going into the match, with the visitors holding the final Champions League spot as it stands.

With all that comes with qualifying for Europe's premier club competition, both sides will be chasing the victory, but if past results are anything to go by, that could be easier said than done.

The last four meetings have all ended in draws, with their earlier fixture this season finishing 2-2.

Given how tight these contests are between the two sides, this one should be an intriguing one to watch to finish your weekend.

Denver Nuggets vs. Los Angeles Clippers (Game 7) - 1:30 CET

In a series that has been by far and large the best of the NBA Playoffs so far, the Nuggets and Clippers are going to put it all on the line in a very exciting Game 7 matchup.

Both teams have had their fair share of awful games where nothing clicked and games where the reverse happened. There's truly no telling who will pull off the win here.

Nikola Jokic will have to take control of this game if Denver wants any hope of winning. While playoff Jamal Murray can be seen as a reliable backup plan, if Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon can't seem to hit their shots, it's going to be a long night for the Denver home crowd.

The same goes for the opposite side - if Kawhi Leonard can hit shots like he did in Game 2 of the series, then the Clippers undoubtedly have the best chance of winning this game.

It's a toss-up between these two evenly matched teams that are built perfectly in sync with each other in terms of talent and mismatches. But with the home crowd, I think Denver squeaks by here, holding their breaths until the final buzzer.
