PSV are set to sign 19-year-old Bayern Munich midfielder Paul Wanner in a deal worth an initial €15 million, it is being reported.

According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Deutschland, Bayern have agreed to sell the attacking midfielder to the Dutch champions for a fee of €15 million that will rise if add-ons are triggered.

Plettenberg has also reported that a buy-back clause has been included in the deal, and Eindhoven Dagblad reporter Rik Elfrink has confirmed that the deal is done.

It was reported earlier in the summer that PSV were interested in bringing Wanner in as a replacement for Malik Tillman, who left for Bayer Leverkusen, but it was thought that reaching a deal with Bayern Munich would prove difficult.

After all, the attacking midfielder is one of the biggest talents to come through their academy in recent years, as shown by the fact that he became the youngest player to even appear in a Bundesliga match for them when he made his debut in 2022.

Since then, he's impressed during loan spells at Elversberg and Heidenheim in the second and first divisions of Germany respectively, and has also been an important player for Germany's U21 side.

Now, he'll look to establish himself as PSV's first-choice number 10, ahead of Ismael Saibari and Guus Til, and establish himself as one of the best young players around.
