Based on our very own player ratings system, we determined the best team of the round in a 3-4-3 formation. To be selected, players had to appear in both legs of the semi-finals and play at least 60 minutes in total.
The ratings you see below represent the average rating of the players over the two legs.

Goalkeeper
Yann Sommer (Inter) 7.6
It may be a bit odd that a goalkeeper who conceded six goals in total should make the team of the round, but anyone who saw the matches between Inter and Barcelona knows that Sommer was one of the heroes of the Italian team.
He made no fewer than 14 saves in the two games, some of them absolutely miraculous, as you can see in the video below.
Defenders
Nuno Mendes (PSG) 7.2
The team that conceded the fewest goals in this year's Champions League semi-finals dominates the backline. Left-back Nuno Mendes has been one of the Parisians' most consistent performers throughout the competition, with his 116 duels won the most this UCL season.
He managed to keep Bukayo Saka in check in the Arsenal double-header, as he did Mohamed Salah in the last-16 tie with Liverpool. He will certainly have something to say in the race for the title of best left-back of the season.

Marquinhos (PSG) 7.3
"The player who doesn't give his all can't play at PSG," Marquinhos said after the return leg with Arsenal, and that's exactly what the Brazilian centre-back did. Two solid performances helped PSG return to the Champions League final after five years.
Marquinhos is the only player in the Parisians' starting line-up who also featured in the final they lost to Bayern in 2020.
Achraf Hakimi (PSG) 7.2
He was named Player of the Match in the return leg against Arsenal, in which he scored the second goal for the Parisians.
He has been involved in more goals this Champions League season than any other full-back in the competition: three goals and five assists.
71 touches, five duels won, five dispossessions, three shots, two interceptions and one goal are his figures from the battle at the Parc des Princes against the Gunners.
Midfielders
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG) 7.5
Another PSG player who caught the eye was Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the man who played the decisive pass in the match against Arsenal in London, where the Parisians won 1-0.
Transferred by PSG in the winter window, 'Kvaradona' - as Napoli fans nicknamed him in the 2023 title-winning season - quickly made Kylian Mbappe forgotten at the Parc des Princes, bringing an added burst of explosion and magic to the French champions' left flank.
87% pass accuracy, 84 passes completed, four of which were key passes. Eight out of 11 ground duels won, three interceptions, and four tackles are just some of Pedri's figures in the return leg against Inter.
The Catalans' talented young midfielder also provided an assist in Italy, but couldn't prevent his side from being eliminated in extra time in Milan.
Fabian Ruiz (PSG) 7.5
Your first goal scored in the Champions League is never forgotten, even more so if that goal helps your team qualify for the final.
Fabian Ruiz was the 'Player of the Match' in Paris for Flashscore, and has a well-deserved place in the team of the round as well.
Denzel Dumfries (Inter) 8.4
The second-highest mark over the two legs of the semi-final overall went to Dutchman Denzel Dumfries, who had arguably the best couple of games of his Champions League career.
Two goals and three assists were a decisive contribution to Inter's qualification for the final.
He became only the fourth player in UCL history to score 2+ goals and provide 2+ assists in a semi-final, after Alessandro Del Piero in 1998, and Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in 2018.
Forwards
Raphinha (Barcelona) 7.8
With a goal and two assists in the games against Inter, Raphinha equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's record for goal contributions in a single Champions League season: 22.
He will most likely end the season as UCL top scorer, tied with Sehrou Guirassy, both with 13 goals. The closest player to catching him is Lautaro Martinez at Inter, who currently has nine.
Desire Doue (PSG) 7.6
Although he didn't score in the games against Arsenal, the young Paris Saint-Germain forward has been a constant threat to David Raya in goal and at just 19, he will be playing in his first Champions League final.
Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) 9.4
It's not very often that the best player of the round comes from a knocked-out team, but Lamine Yamal is in a whole different league.
He scored just one of Barcelona's six goals in the semi-final, but he was close on a couple of other occasions and only Sommer's inspiration prevented him from getting his name on the scoresheet more often.
A Champions League success would probably have propelled Yamal to the top of the list of favourites to win the Ballon d'Or, but the 17-year-old made a promise to his fans: "I will bring the Champions League to Barcelona. We won't stop until we make it happen".
