For the second time in a row, Magnus Mattsson came off the bench to convert two penalties for FC Copenhagen.
That was enough to give the Danish favorites a 2-0 win at the expense of FC Drita from Kosovo in the first of two matches in the second round of the Champions League qualification.
This should set the stage for a manageable task for the Danes in the return match in a week's time in Kosovo.
Before Mattsson's two goals, the home side struggled to create any open goalscoring opportunities against an aggressive away team.
Coach Jacob Neestrup had made four changes since Friday's game in Viborg due to various circumstances.
Victor Froholdt is reportedly close to a move abroad and was not available. Thomas Delaney was injured during the warm-up and left the squad. Pantelis Hatzidiakos had fallen ill and therefore did not participate.

Instead, Lukas Lerager and William Clem were chosen for central midfield, while Munashe Garananga starred in central defence, and in front Andreas Cornelius was chosen over Youssoufa Moukoko
Perhaps the many changes were the cause of FC Copenhagen's struggles in settling into their usual stylish stride.
FC Copenhagen playmaker Mohamed Elyounoussi had the best chance of the first half, when he directed a header straight at Drita keeper Faton Maloki.
Elyounoussi also had a finish that hit the inside of both posts but stayed out in a goalless first half.
After 68 minutes, Mattsson came on for Clem and shortly after broke the deadlock, when he converted a penalty after Elyounoussi had been brought down in the box.
Seven minutes later, FC Copenhagen won another penalty, and Mattsson again won the duel against Maloki.
FC Copenhagen can now travel to Kosovo with a comfortable 2-0 win in the bag.
