Ajax manager Francesco Farioli refused to speak of a potential title after beating rivals PSV 2-0 on Sunday.

Ajax are nine points ahead of PSV with seven games remaining in the Eredivisie season after Davy Klaassen and Bertrand Traore decided the crucial clash in Eindhoven. However, Italian manager Francesco Farioli will not entertain any talk of a potential title.

"There are still 21 points left to earn," Farioli told ESPN after the match. "We controlled the small details. We managed to ‘manage’ the match. PSV did everything they could to create chances. We foiled their chances and finished ours."

No team in Eredivisie history have ever given away a 9-point lead with seven games remaining, giving Ajax a historically big chance of winning their 37th title. " We have 67 points and need to move forward. Our points tally is very good. We have won twice against Feyenoord and PSV. That is a great success for this group of players."
