Brazilian goalkeeper Matheus Magalhaes (32) is reportedly set to leave Portuguese side Braga after 11 seasons after Braga and Ajax agreed on a loan deal.

Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported the rumours Sunday night, just hours after Ajax beat Feyenoord in the Klassieker (2-1).

Despite having received offers from Brazil, Matheus is heading to Ajax on loan with an option to buy for a reported fee of €3 million.

Ajax started the search for a new second-string goalkeeper after the club reportedly agreed with Borussia Dortmund on a transfer of German stopper Diant Ramaj for a reported fee of €5 million.

The 32-year-old Brazilian would leave Braga after having played 372 games for the club and winning four trophies along the way in the form of two Portuguese Cups and two League Cups.
