Go Ahead Eagles will be without left-back Dean James for 'several weeks' due to injury, the club announced.
24-year-old James has been a pillar in the Go Ahead Eagles' defense this season and has created more chances from set pieces than any other player in the Eredivisie.
The Indonesian international had to get subbed off in last weekend's Eredivisie game against FC Utrecht and has now been ruled out for several weeks. The club did not disclose the nature of the injury, but James left the pitch after seemingly experiencing hamstring issues.
The injury means James will miss the KNVB Cup final on Monday, April 21st, against AZ. The final is the club's first in 60 years.
