The 32 World Cup participants will be divided into eight groups of four teams. The top two from each group will advance to the round of 16, with single-leg knockout matches.
Pot 1 will have four teams from UEFA and four from Conmebol, defined by the ranking of each confederation. River Plate complete the South American quartet alongside Fluminense, Palmeiras and Flamengo, while Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are the European favourites.

Clubs from the same confederation cannot be drawn in the same group, with the exception of UEFA - with a limit of two in each.
Pot 2 has only European teams. The four highest-ranked teams in this pot must be in the groups of the CONMEBOL representatives in Pot 1, meaning that Flamengo, Palmeiras, River and Fluminense will have Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan or Porto in their groups.

Botafogo are joined by teams like Boca Juniors and Al Hilal in Pot 3.
In Pot 4, Lionel Messi's Inter Miami has qualified as the host country's representative. The team from Florida must be in Group A and will play the opening game, while Seattle Sounders, also from the USA, will be in Group B.
The Super Club World Cup will take place from June 15th to July 13th 2025 in the United States. The tournament will have 12 stadiums and 11 host cities. The final is scheduled for the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
