The upcoming Double Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League promises to be an important one, with Liverpool and Everton having several assets to consider for your teams.

Here are the best players for FPL Double Gameweek 24 using Fantasy Football Hub’s AI-predicted points. If you’re struggling to settle on which FPL move to make, get your AI-recommended transfers right here!

Defender: Trent Alexander-Arnold - 9.4 points

Liverpool have been one of the best defences in the Premier League this campaign, keeping nine clean sheets, the most of any side. They’ve conceded just 21 goals, level with Arsenal for the best tally of goals conceded, although they have played one fewer game.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of just two defenders to break the 100-point barrier this season, having produced two double-digit hauls in the last five Gameweeks. Liverpool have kept two clean sheets in this period, conceding just four goals.

He’s also produced three goal involvements in this period: one goal and two assists, only Fulham’s Antonee Robinson (9) and Wolves' Rayan Ait-Nouri (8) have more goal involvements among defenders. Alexander-Arnold also boasts 14 big chance creations.

Midfielder: Mohamed Salah - 14.9 points

Mohamed Salah leads the overall AI rankings going into Double Gameweek 24 and away trips to Bournemouth and Everton. He has the highest AI prediction of any player so far this season and so this is the perfect opportunity to deploy the Triple Captain chip.

Despite just two goals in the last four Gameweeks, Salah is still averaging over 10 points per game this season. He has blanked in his last two trips on the road, but prior to that he had five consecutive double-digit hauls away from Anfield.

His underlying numbers remain compelling, sitting top among midfielders for shots (16) and shots in the box (14) over the last four Gameweeks. He’s also made 14 key passes, including three big chances created.

Forward: Cody Gakpo - 9.7 points

Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo was still a differential heading into FPL Gameweek 23, where he notched two goals and an assist in the 4-1 win against Ipswich Town for 16 points. That performance has seen him become the most transferred-in player for the double.

Gakpo has become a mainstay in Arne Slot’s side, starting 11 consecutive games in the league. In this time he’s produced eight goals and two assists, including double-digit returns on two occasions. He’s the top-performing Liverpool player over the last four Gameweeks.

In this period he leads the way among Arne Slot’s side for both shots on target (5) and big chances (4), while his creativity numbers also carry appeal, with nine key passes and two big chances created in the same period.

Hidden Gem: Iliman Ndiaye - 7.2 points

While most of the talk around the double Gameweek has been around Liverpool assets, Everton shouldn’t be overlooked with home games against Leicester City and Liverpool. This will be the final Merseyside Derby to be played at Goodison Park.

Everton have been much improved under David Moyes, taking six points from three games, with four goals scored and one clean sheet. Striker Iliman Ndiaye has been involved in half of those goals, scoring in consecutive games for the Toffees.

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin a doubt with a hamstring injury, minutes look secure for the Senegalese striker across the double Gameweek. However, I wouldn’t look to move away from the template strikers Alexander Isak and Chris Wood to accommodate him.
