The march towards the business end of the Premier League season continues with teams desperate for points and players keen to step up.

Liverpool's title charge hit a bit of a bump as they were beaten 3-2 on their travels to Fulham, although the buffer is still 11 points with Arsenal only managing a 1-1 draw against Everton earlier in the day.

Southampton became the first team to be relegated after suffering a 3-1 defeat against Tottenham, Manchester United and Manchester City played out a 0-0 stalemate in the derby and there were wins for Newcastle, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace.

Using our dedicated player ratings system, Flashscore picks out the latest Premier League Team of the Week.

GK - Mark Flekken, 7.6 (Brentford)

Brentford's 0-0 draw with Chelsea wasn't a match to remember, but Mark Flekken wouldn't have minded as he finally recorded his first clean sheet of the campaign.

The Dutch goalkeeper made six saves in the stalemate, including two outstretched stops to deny Pedro Neto and Reece James' efforts.

DEF - Andres Garcia, 7.8 (Aston Villa)

Andres Garcia held up well in his 45 minutes of action for Aston Villa as they emerged with a handy 2-1 win over fellow Champions League chasers Nottingham Forest.

The 22-year-old defender provided a brilliant cross for Marco Asensio in the first half which wasn't put away before being replaced by Ezri Konsa for the second period.

DEF - Tino Livramento, 8.1 (Newcastle)

A threat on Newcastle's left flank, Tino Livramento enjoyed his Monday night as the Magpies strolled past Championship-bound Leicester 3-0.

Livramento created a game-high three chances, one of which was a lovely cross that was converted by Jacob Murphy for Newcastle's opener.

DEF - Keane Lewis-Potter, 7.8 (Brentford)

Keane Lewis-Potter generated an all-action display deserving of three points as Brentford drew at home to Chelsea.

Lewis-Potter won a game-high nine duels and completed four dribbles, as well as creating one big chance and making two clearances and interceptions each.

MID - Pablo Sarabia, 8.8 (Wolves)

Substitute Pablo Sarabia stepped off the bench to spark a Wolves turnaround at Ipswich with a second-half goal and assist in a key 2-1 win for the visitors.

Earning a week-high 8.8 Flashscore player rating, Sarabia took just seven minutes following his introduction to equalise for Wolves with a low finish into the corner.

The Spaniard was involved again to set up Jorgen Strand Larsen's eventual winner, which moved Wolves a healthy 12 points clear from the relegation zone.

MID - Eberechi Eze, 8.1 (Crystal Palace)

Crystal Palace's talisman in Eberechi Eze was their creator in chief as they claimed a 2-1 win over rivals Brighton in one of the most incident-filled games of the season.

The first of Eze's two assists came after just three minutes when he carefully slid in Jean-Philippe Mateta before picking out Daniel Munoz early in the second half.

MID - Alex Iwobi, 8.2 (Fulham)

A goal and an assist next to Alex Iwobi's name suggests it was a good day's work for the Nigerian, as Fulham kept Liverpool's charge to the Premier League title honest.

After Ryan Sessegnon's equaliser, Iwobi gave Fulham the lead with a deflected effort before assisting Rodrigo Muniz in a spell which yielded three Fulham goals in 15 first-half minutes.

MID - Luis Diaz, 7.9 (Liverpool)

Colombian winger Luis Diaz did his best to try and salvage something for Liverpool off the bench as he scored to reduce the arrears in the second half.

Diaz took his goal well and stretched Fulham's defence but it wasn't to be for Arne Slot's side, who still hold a hefty lead at the top.

FWD - Jacob Murphy, 8.2 (Newcastle)

The aforementioned Murphy continued what has been a wonderful campaign for him with two goals inside 11 minutes to give Newcastle control against Leicester.

A simple tap-in gave Newcastle an early lead, while some good anticipation of Fabian Schar's superb long-range effort off the crossbar gave him the double.

FWD - Jarrod Bowen, 7.9 (West Ham)

West Ham were made to battle for a 2-2 draw against Bournemouth and in that, Jarrod Bowen added his eighth Premier League goal of the season.

Bowen gave the Hammers the lead after getting up well to head Mohamed Kudus' cross into the bottom corner, although it wasn't enough as Bournemouth fought back.

FWD - Brennan Johnson, 7.9 (Tottenham)

Brennan Johnson took his Premier League goal tally into double figures for the season by scoring twice to condemn Southampton to relegation.

His first was a super shot high into the corner and his second was a delicate flick past Aaron Ramsdale, while he also won Spurs a penalty late in the game which was converted by Mathys Tel.
