Fulham reportedly have plenty of competition in the race to sign PSV striker Ricardo Pepi.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday that Fulham are targeting PSV top scorer Ricardo Pepi to bolster their attack. The American striker scored 11 goals in 18 league games before his season abruptly ended after sustaining a serious knee injury.

The American international is a reported target of Fulham, but the Cottagers will have to work for his signing. According to Ekrem Konur, Fulham will compete with Serie A giants Juventus and Conference League finalists Real Betis for the signing of Ricardo Pepi.

Luring him away from PSV won't be easy: Pepi recently extended his contract at PSV until 2030, and the reigning Eredivisie champions will likely only let him go for an exorbitant fee. Eindhovens Dagblad journalist Rik Elfrink reported that bids between 25 and 30 million euros are way below PSV's demands.
