Goalkeeper

Paulo Gazzaniga (Girona) 9.2

Girona clinched a 3-0 win over Athletic Club in LaLiga, but while the scoreline looks emphatic, they needed an inspired display from goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga to help them get over the line.

The 34-year-old made eight saves, preventing an xG of 1.60, inspiring Girona to keep a clean sheet despite Athletic's best efforts.

Defence

Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund) 8.9

Borussia Dortmund managed to move nine points behind Bundesliga table-toppers Bayern Munich with a 2-0 win over Augsburg, and centre back Nico Schlotterbeck was integral once again.

He demonstrated why his ball-playing skills are so highly rated, having a game-high 125 touches and 102 accurate passes. Additionally, no players had more than his 17 final-third passes and six long passes.

He dominated in the air too, winning all seven of his aerial duels - more than anyone else.

Brayan Ceballos (New England Revolution) 9.1

The MLS season is just a few days old, and the New England Revolution claimed their first win of the campaign with a 6-1 win over FC Cincinnati.

While solid at the back, the Colombian defender shone in attack, scoring a pair of headers in the first half to put his team in cruise control.

Wilfried Singo (Galatasaray) 8.9

Galatasaray took a major step towards a 26th Super Lig title - and a fourth in a row - with a thumping 3-0 win over 10-man Istanbul Basaksehir on the weekend, moving seven points clear at the summit.

Defender Wilfried Singo, who was signed for €30 million from Monaco in the summer, was the catalyst behind their victory, putting in a brilliant performance at both ends of the pitch.

Singo opened the scoring with an emphatic volleyed finish - his first for the club - while winning a game-high 15 duels, three interceptions and 10 clearances, summing up how supreme he was.

Midfield

Mika Godts (Ajax) 9.3

It has been far from a straightforward season for Ajax, but they claimed their first win in four games on the weekend with a 4-0 victory over Sparta Rotterdam.

Felix bagged a brace and an assist for the team at the top of the table, while having nine shots in total. He also had a game-high 13 touches in the opposition box.

With Cristiano Ronaldo out with injury, his Portuguese teammate is stepping up, as Al Nassr eye a first league title in seven years.

Guilherme (Houston Dynamo) 9.5

The 10-man Houston Dynamo won a 3-2 thriller against the Portland Timbers in the MLS, as Brazilian winger Guilherme came up with a goal and an assist.

His header made the score 1-1 in the second half, before Dynamo scored 15 minutes into stoppage time to snatch an incredible win.

Kenan Yildiz (Juventus) 9.2

Kenan Yildiz has popped up in the Team of the Week pretty often, with the young Turkish star performing at a stunning level for Juventus this season.

Yildiz provided the assist as Juventus won 1-0 at Udinese to keep their Champions League qualification hopes alive, while constantly providing the spark for his team throughout.

He had a game-high 19 touches in the opposition box and three successful dribbles, but also did his part off the ball, winning six ground duels - more than anyone else.
