Goalkeeper

Senne Lammens (Antwerp) 8.6

Antwerp scored twice in the final four minutes to claim a 2-1 win over Club Brugge in the Belgian top flight, and crucial to their victory was the performance of Lammens between the sticks.

The visitors racked up an xG of 2.83 throughout the contest but Lammens stood firm in the Antwerp goal, making a total of nine saves to keep his side within striking distance before the dramatic turnaround.

Defence

Fahad Al Jumaiya (Al Taawon) 8.7

Al Jumaiya was the standout player in Al Taawon's hard-fought 0-0 draw against Al Feiha in the Saudi Pro League.

Not only was the right-back solid in defence against the threat of Henry Onyekuru, but he also offered plenty in an attacking sense, creating two key chances for his side.

Stefan de Vrij (Inter) 8.5

Inter snatched a vital point in the 182nd edition of the Derby della Madonnina as De Vrij's stoppage-time strike extended the Nerazzurri's unbeaten run in Serie A to a league-high 17 matches.

Simone Inzaghi's men looked to heading to a costly defeat in the title race until the Dutch centre-back popped up in the six-yard box to sweep home from Nicola Zalewski's cut-back.

Gabriel Gudmundsson (Lille) 8.9

Having sealed a spot in the Champions League last 16, Lille carried their momentum into the French top flight, thrashing Saint-Etienne 4-1 to move up to fourth in the Ligue 1 standings.

Gudmundsson produced an all-action display from left-back, making two key tackles before scoring his side's third with a drilled finish into the roof of the net.

Midfield

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) 8.8

A trip to in-form Bournemouth promised to be a stern test of Liverpool's title credentials, but once again, Salah stepped up to the plate for Arne Slot's side, delivering a match-winning performance on the south coast.

The talismanic Egyptian netted a first-half penalty to move up to 20 Premier League goals for the campaign before curling a sublime second beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga, securing a crucial three points for the Reds.

Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest) 8.6

Having fallen to a heavy 5-0 defeat at Bournemouth last time out, Nottingham Forest responded in stunning fashion over the weekend, dismantling Brighton & Hove Albion 7-0 on a record-breaking afternoon at the City Ground.

Gibbs-White set the tone from the first whistle, forcing an early own goal from Lewis Dunk before doubling his side's advantage midway through the opening period with a brilliant front-post header.

Mohamed Ihattaren (Waalwijk) 8.9

Ihattaren had a Sunday to remember as relegation-threatened Waalwijk recovered from a goal down at half-time to run out 4-1 winners over rock-bottom Almere City in the Eredivisie.

The Dutch midfielder led the charge for Henk Fraser's side, levelling the scores from range before providing several chances for his teammates in a dominant second-half showing.

Ousmane Dembele (Paris Saint-Germain) 9.4

Fresh from his Champions League heroics against Stuttgart in midweek, Dembele continued his momentum with another world-class showing in PSG's statement win at Brest.

The Frenchman, often criticised for a lack of cutting edge in the final third, bagged his second hat-trick in the space of four days, taking his tally for the season up to 19 in all competitions.

Attack

Krzysztof Piatek (Basaksehir) 9.2

Piatek has reignited his career since moving to Turkish football, and the Pole demonstrated his ability once again for Basaksehir on Saturday, scoring a brilliant treble en route to a 4-0 victory over Samsunspor.

The 29-year-old forward opened the scoring with a powerful header before adding two clinical strikes in the second half, moving his side up to sixth in the Super Lig standings.

Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest) 9.1

Just like Gibbs-White, Wood played a starring role in Nottingham Forest's emphatic home triumph over Fabian Hurzeler's Brighton.

The New Zealander continued his remarkable run of form in front of goal, netting a well-taken hat-trick to move up to 17 Premier League goals in 2024/25 - his most prolific campaign in the English top flight.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 9.2

Bayern survived a thrilling second-half fightback from Holstein Kiel on Saturday afternoon to win 4-3 and preserve their six-point cushion over Bayer Leverkusen at the Bundesliga summit.

Kane was at the heart of everything good for his side, scoring twice to fire the Bavarians into a four-goal lead before the hour mark - the Englishman’s 18th and 19th league goals of yet another superb individual campaign.
