Goalkeeper

Stefan Frei (Seattle Sounders) 8.5

Seattle Sounders moved into the Western Conference Final in the MLS Cup playoffs after a tense extra-time victory over Los Angeles FC.

Stefan Frei was crucial to his side in between the sticks, making nine saves throughout the 120 minutes to repeatedly frustrate the hosts - who suffered a first head-to-head defeat in 11 matches.

Defence

Leo Greiml (NAC Breda) 8.5

Leo Greiml netted his second goal of the Eredivisie season against Willem II, directing a superb header into the far corner from Jan Ven den Bergh's long throw-in.

Unfortunately for Greiml, who also made five key tackles and won 10 aerial duels throughout the contest, NAC Breda conceded deep into stoppage time to drop costly points in their pursuit of the European qualification spots.

Alessandro Bastoni (Inter Milan) 8.6

Inter came flying out the blocks in their Serie A clash against Hellas Verona, racing into a five-goal lead before half-time.

While it was the Nerazzurri's attacking talent that played a starring role, Alessandro Bastoni held everything together at the back, completing 95% of his passes as well as chipping in with an assist for Inter's third.

Melvin Bard (Nice) 8.8

Nice extended their unbeaten run to five matches across all competitions after an impressive comeback victory over Strasbourg in Ligue 1.

Trailing at half-time, Franck Haise's side were indebted to left-back Malvin Bard who opened his account for the season with a clinical low finish to level the scores.

Midfield

Bryan Gil (Girona) 8.9

It was a dream opening half-hour for Bryan Gil against Espanyol, with the Spaniard netting the opener inside four minutes before adding two quickfire assists for Bojan Miovski.

Having struggled to nail down a starting spot at parent club Tottenham, Gil will be hoping to continue his resurgence at Girona this campaign.

Muhammed Cham (Trabzonspor) 10

Without a goal contribution from his opening nine league appearances, Muhammed Cham exploded into life against Adana Demirspor, earning the Austrian midfielder a perfect 10 rating.

Cham was directly involved in all five of Trabzonspor's goals on Monday evening, including three excellent finishes to claim the match ball.

James Maddison (Tottenham) 9

Tottenham produced a statement performance to thrash Manchester City 4-0 on Saturday evening, with James Maddison starring in midfield for Ange Postecoglou's side.

The England international set the tone for the visitors, scoring two expertly taken goals in the first half before an accomplished display on the ball in the second period.

Christos Tzolis (Club Brugge) 10

Club Brugge consolidated second spot in the Belgian top flight after a brutal 7-0 dismantling of St. Truiden.

Tzolis was the standout player for the hosts, firing them single-handedly into a four-goal lead before being substituted in the 58th minute with a 10 rating wrapped up.

Attack

Hugo Duro (Valencia) 9.1

Valencia earned just their second LaLiga victory of the season on Saturday, with Hugo Duro inspiring Los Ches to a thrilling 4-2 triumph over Real Betis.

The Spanish forward assisted Cesar Tarrega for the game's opener before scoring two goals in the space of three second-half minutes to secure a crucial three points for his side.

Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) 9.1

Bayern's talismanic striker was in ruthless form once again at the weekend, netting all three of his side's goals to comfortably see off the challenge of Augsburg.

In scoring his eighth hat-trick for the club, Kane became the fastest player in Bundesliga history to reach 50 goals - achieving the feat in just 43 matches.

Marcus Thuram (Inter Milan) 9.5

Marcus Thuram's superb start to the season continued in Verona on Saturday, with the Frenchman finding the net twice to move up to double figures in all competitions.

He also provided an assist for his side, linking up brilliantly with Joaquin Correa to set the tone for an emphatic victory.
