We've reached the third round in Cincinnati as Jannik Sinner, Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz all take to the court on a blockbuster day of action.

07:14 CET - Elena Rybakina is the final winner of the day in Cincinnati, with the ninth seed coming from behind to outlast Elise Mertens in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.

05:30 CET - Adrian Mannarino finishes the job and defeats the world No. 16 Tommy Paul 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 to advance. He is now the sixth-oldest (37) male tennis player to reach the Round of 16 in Cincinnati!

03:55 CET - After a back-and-forth battle in the second set, Jannik Sinner defeats Gabriel Diallo 6-2, 7-6. This is now Sinner's ninth straight win and his seventh at Cincinnati. 

03:15 CET - Terence Atmane upsets the Brazilian Joao Fonseca in straight sets 6-3, 6-4 to advance to his first-ever Masters Round 4!

02:50 CET - Madison Keys makes quick work of Aoi Ito 6-4, 6-0 in just 63 minutes. 

01:35 CET - Benjamin Bonzi takes down Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-7, 6-3, 6-4. This is now Bonzi's fifth win against a top-30 opponent this year.

01:30 CET - After a delay, Taylor Fritz defeats Lorenzo Sonego in straight sets 7-6, 7-5

00:50 CET - The matchup between Benjamin Bonzi and Stefanos Tsitsipas has resumed play.

00:40 CET - The matchup between Taylor Fritz and Lorenzo Sonego has resumed play.

23:53 CET - Play has been suspended in Cincinnati due to an issue with a power generator. At the time of the suspension, Stefanos Tsitsipas led Benjamin Bonzi 7-6, 2-5 while Taylor Fritz was 7-6 up on Lorenzo Sonego.

It's unclear when the action will resume.

23:17 CET - The fifth seed is out, with Amanda Anisimova losing 7-5, 6-4 to world number 34 Anna Kalinskaya. Exiting the tournament this early will be a huge disappointment for the Wimbledon finalist.

22:21 CET - In another tight three-set clash, Sorana Cirstea has claimed a 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Yue Yuan.

22:15 CET - World number one Aryna Sabalenka has come through a huge test against Emma Raducanu, beating the Brit 7-6, 4-6, 7-6 after over three hours of play.

Raducanu will be delighted with that performance; she's heading into the US Open arguably playing her best tennis since she won the Grand Slam in 2021.

20:37 CET - 10th seed Frances Tiafoe has moved into the last 16 on home turf, with the American beating Ugo Humbert 6-4, 6-4.

19:23 CET - Felix Auger-Aliassime is the latest player to progress in Cincinnati after his opponent Arthur Rinderknech was forced to retire with an injury, while trailing 7-6(4), 4-2.

18:46 CET - Seventh seed Holger Rune is through in Cincinnati after the Dane edged a tight opening set to defeat Alex Michelsen 7-6(4), 6-3.

Meanwhile, on the women's side of the draw, Jessica Bouzas Maneiro has progressed courtesy of an impressive 6-4, 6-1 victory over Taylor Townsend.

18:27 CET - Ekaterina Alexandrova is safely through to the fourth round, with the 12th seed proving too strong for Australian teenager Maya Joint. The Russian triumphed 6-4, 6-3 in 79 minutes.

17:02 CET - We're just about to get started for the day in Cincinnati, with Holger Rune, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Ekaterina Alexandrova first up on court.
