The Davis Cup match between Denmark and Serbia will be decided by the final rubber after Holger Rune won his match against Miomir Kecmanovic 6-2, 6-4 and thereby equalized to 2-2 in the match

On Friday evening, Holger Rune proved a big disappointment for almost 10,000 Danish fans in the Royal Arena in Copenhagen when he completely fell apart in the final two sets against Hamed Medjedovic and lost the vital second singles against Serbia in the Davis Cup.

On Saturday, he took revenge by playing a big part in equalizing to 2-2 before the final all-important singles match.

First, Rune cut the deficit to 1-2 by winning the doubles with Johannes Ingildsen, and after just half an hour's break he was again action in the singles' match against Miomir Kecmanovic.

Unlike Friday night Rune was back to his best against Kecmanovic, showed plenty of fighting spirit and won 6-2, 6-4.

He managed to get a lot of first serves in play and produced winners from both forehand and backhand to force the tie into a fifth and final rubber.

Now it is up to 21-year-old Elmer Møller - world number 149 - to complete the Danish comeback.

In the decisive single, he will face world number 94, Hamad Medjedovic, who beat Holger Rune on Friday.

The overall winner will face either Spain or Switzerland for a place at the Final 8 of the world's top eight nations in Italy at the end of the year.
