It's the day of the final in Monte Carlo, with Carlos Alcaraz aiming to add a sixth Masters 1000 title to his trophy cabinet and Lorenzo Musetti looking to win his first.

19:52 CET - That's that for this weekend's tennis, but fear not: the season rolls on tomorrow!

The new week will bring us four new tournaments, with ATP action in Barcelona and Munich and WTA action in Rouen and Stuttgart. With Alexander Zverev, Holger Rune, Elina Svitolina and Jasmine Paolini among those in action, there'll be plenty for you to sink your teeth into.

We'll be back to cover it all with a brand new tracker tomorrow morning. See you then!

19:18 CET - The final spot in the finals has gone to the Americans thanks to Bernarda Pera's 7-6, 7-5 victory against Rebecca Sramkova, who led 4-0 in the second set but was pegged back and ultimately beaten.

16:47 CET - The USA have taken a 1-0 lead against Slovakia, with Hailey Baptiste defeating Renata Jamrichova, 6-3, 6-4, in an hour and a half.

15:12 CET - The last Billie Jean King Cup tie of the week is about to get underway, with the USA and Slovakia facing off. The winner will earn a spot in the finals in September.

The first singles match sees Hailey Baptiste take on Renata Jamrichova, before Rebecca Sramkova goes head to head with Bernarda Pera.

14:03 CET  - Carlos Alcaraz is the Monte Carlo champion! The Spaniard bounced back from a really iffy start against Lorenzo Musetti to soar to a fine 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 victory in the final.

Alcaraz hasn't always been at his best this week, but his quality eventually told as he got his hands on his maiden Monte Carlo crown and his first Masters victory since his triumph in Indian Wells at the start of 2024. He will also move up to number two in the world rankings. An ominous sign ahead of his Roland Garros title defence.

For Musetti, it is a disappointing end to what has been a great week for the Italian. Fantastic victories over Alex De Minaur and three-time champion Stefanos Tsitsipas illustrated his quality on this surface, but it wasn't to be today, and he looked to be physically hampered in the final set. As a result, he will move up to a career-high ranking of 11th in the world.

13:31 CET - The response of a champion from Carlos Alcaraz. A scintillating 6-1 set from the Spaniard has seen him level proceedings, and he and Lorenzo Musetti are now heading to a final set shootout to decide who will be Monte Carlo champion.

12:55 CET - Lorenzo Musetti is a set away from his first-ever Masters 1000 title! The Italian played an excellent, ultra-aggressive brand to take the opening set 6-3 while also profiting from a very wayward and inconsistent performance from Carlos Alcaraz, who made 14 unforced errors compared to Musetti's six.

11:55 CET - We are just minutes away from the start of the final in Monte Carlo, as Carlos Alcaraz and Lorenzo Musetti face off to win their first title at this tournament.

Alcaraz leads the head-to-head 3-1 and has also won their last three meetings.

09:10 CET - Also taking place today are the final Billie Jean King Cup qualifiers, and the tie between Canada and Japan has been taken to a doubles decider thanks to Moyuka Uchijima's 6-3, 6-3 win over Marina Stakusic.
