21:08 CET - In a battle between clay-court specialists, Francisco Cerundolo eased to a win over 37-year-old Fabio Fognini, defeating the Italian 6-3, 6-0 to soar into the second round. No player has more wins on tour than the Argentine this year (17).

14:43 CET - Veteran Gael Monfils put in an immense performance to fight back from a set down and beat Fabian Marozsan, 4-6, 6-1, 6-1. The Frenchman rolled back the year with some thrilling tennis, as he continues to have a really impressive 2025.
