We've reached the latter stages of tune-up tournaments in Monterrey, Cleveland and Winston-Salem, as several players on the ATP and WTA Tours look to build valuable momentum ahead of the US Open.

05:15 CET - With everything wrapped up in Cleveland, Monterrey, and Winston-Salem, the main focus now shifts toward the US Open, beginning on August 24th.

05:05 CET - At just 21 years old, Diana Shnaider wins her fifth WTA singles title after defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-3, 4-6, 6-4 in Monterrey.

The win marks Shnaiders' first title of the year and her second WTA 500 title, with the first coming from her win at the Bad Homburg Open in 2024.

01:05 CET - Marton Fucsovics defeats Botic Van De Zandschulp 6-3, 7-6 to take the crown in Winston-Salem. It is now Fucsovics' third ATP title.

22:04 CET - Sorana Cirstea is the Queen of Cleveland after beating Ann Li 6-2, 6-4 in the tournament decider in Ohio.

It's been some run from Cirstea in Cleveland. Entering the competition as a qualifier, she didn't drop a set in seven matches on her way to the title!

It is the Romanian's third career title but her first since 2021. Does this represent a return to the top for the 35-year-old? It sets her up nicely for the US Open, that's for sure.
