There's more Latin American action in the world of tennis today, with some big names on the WTA tour taking to the court in Brazil and Mexico including Maria Sakkari, Beatrice Haddad Maia and Sloane Stephens.

02:50 CET - Beatriz Haddad Maia gets the win on her home court in Brazil after defeating Miriana Tona in straight sets 6-1, 6-1

02:40 CET - Staying in Mexico, Rebecca Marino defeats Martina Trevisan in straight sets 6-2, 6-3, while Emiliana Arango wins her match 6-0 after Magda Linette retired shortly after the first set as she deals with a knee injury.

01:35 CET - Over in Mexico, Elsa Jacquemot beats Maria Sakkari 6-2, 6-0 after a very rough match from Greece's own. Sakkari didn't win a single return game and only took 2-of-14 total games. 

01:30 CET - In a match with zero aces and 11 total double faults, Alexandra Eala takes down Yasmine Mansouri in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 out in Sao Paulo. 

23:38 CET - Sixth seed Tatjana Maria has advanced in the first result of the night in Guadalajara - where rain continues to cause delays - with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Zeynep Sonmez, while Laura Pigossi and Ana Candiotto have advanced in Sao Paulo.

21:52 CET - It's been a good start to the evening for the seeds in Sao Paulo, with Francesca Jones now beating Lina Glushko 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.

Berfu Cengiz is also through thanks to a 6-1, 6-2 win over Jasmin Ortenzi.

20:45 CET - Fifth seed Renata Zarazua has advanced in Sao Paulo with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Brazilian wildcard Luiza Fullana, while eighth seed Panna Udvardy has beaten Anna Sinclair Rogers 6-2, 6-3.
