It's a huge day in the Davis Cup with a number of top players representing their nations, while others are looking to reach finals in Montpellier, Linz and Singapore.

23:20 CET - That's all from us today on the Tennis Tracker but be sure to tune in again tomorrow as the Davis Cup action continues and, importantly, finals take place in Singapore, Linz and Montpellier!

22:30 CET - The Davis Cup matches are all but over for the day and to round up a few of the results: Japan, the USA, Australia and Denmark all progressed through their qualifier ties.

Elsewhere, Spain and France both won their opening two rubbers to go into tomorrow with 2-0 leads over Switzerland and Brazil respectively.

19:12 CET - Top seed Andrey Rublev (27) has lost his semi-final in Montpellier to Aleksandar Kovacevic (26), with the American winning 7-5, 6-4.

Kovacevic will face second seed Felix Auger-Aliassime (24) in the decider tomorrow.

18:36 CET - Arthur Fils (20) has put France 2-0 up against Brazil with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Thiago Seyboth Wild (24).

18:21 CET - What a comeback from Denmark! They were 2-0 down in their tie against Serbia but have won it 3-2 thanks to a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3 win for Elmer Moller (21) over Hamad Medjedovic (21).

17:13 CET - The first semi-final in Montpellier has been won by Felix Auger-Aliassime (24), with the second seed beating Jesper de Jong (24) 6-4, 7-6.

16:35 CET - Top seed Karolina Muchova (28) has been beaten 6-0, 6-4 by Ekaterina Alexandrova (3) in the second semi-final in Linz.

16:23 CET - Joao Fonseca (18) has lost 7-5, 6-3 to Ugo Humbert (26), meaning France have taken a 1-0 lead in their tie with Brazil.

15:38 CET - Holger Rune (21) has kept Denmark alive in the Davis Cup with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Miomir Kecmanovic (25), taking the tie to a decider.

Elsewhere, Australia and Croatia have secured spots in the next round with wins over Sweden and Slovakia.

15:08 CET - Dayana Yastremska (24) has moved into the Linz final with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Clara Tauson (22).

13:40 CET - Moving back to the Davis Cup, the Czech Republic are through to the second round of qualifiers after a commanding win over South Korea. The Czechs won the first three rubbers to secure progression. 

11:30 CET - There's a bit of a lull in the action now but things will heat up again later with Holger Rune (21) and Alex De Minaur (25) both playing and Joao Fonseca (18) taking on Ugo Humbert (26) in the Davis Cup.

With the semi-finals in Montpellier and Linz also on the horizon, we have quite the day ahead of us!

10:45 CET - The second semi-final in Singapore has been won by second seed Elise Mertens (29), who has won 6-3, 6-4 against fourth seed Xinyu Wang (23).

10:37 CET - Kei Nishikori (35) has beaten Billy Harris (30) 6-2, 6-3 to send Japan through in the Davis Cup, meaning Great Britain will now have to win a play-off in September to stay in this year's competition.

08:25 CET - Top seed Anna Kalinskaya (26) has retired from her Singapore semi-final against Ann Li (24) while trailing 7-6, 1-0.

08:20 CET - Having already advanced, the USA have gone 4-0 up in their tie with Chinese Taipei thanks to a 6-2, 6-3 win for Mackenzie McDonald (29) over Tsung-Hao Huang (25).

Japan meanwhile have made it 2-2 and forced a decider against Great Britain with Yoshihito Nishioka (29) winning 6-3, 7-6 against Jacob Fearnley (23).
