Tennis Tracker: Sabalenka cruises, Draper edges Fritz as Alcaraz outclasses Dimitrov

By the end of the day, the quarter-final line-up at Indian Wells will be known, with the last few fourth round clashes set to take place. There are a number of heavyweight match-ups in Tennis Paradise that you do not want to miss.

03:40 CET - Carlos Alcaraz grabs a solid 6-1, 6-1 win over Grigor Dimitrov. The Spaniard, looking for a three-peat in the 'Sunshine Desert', had just 14 unforced errors in the match. He also broke the Dimitrov serve five times as he storms into the quarter-finals.

02:00 CET - Liudmila Samsonova gets a big win as she takes out Jasmine Paolini 6-0, 6-4. The Italian was broken five times on her serve as she dropped the opening set in just 20 minutes. Despite a much better showing in the second, Samsonova continued to serve well, pulling off a big win.

01:50 CET - Two incredibly tight sets go the way of Jack Draper, as the Brit knocks off Taylor Fritz 7-5, 6-4. The number 13 seed had a strong serving day, winning an astounding 91% of points on his first serve. He also had 23 winners in the victory. While Fritz did not play badly at all, he just could not get the key points in the end.

00:35 CET - Aryna Sabalenka made light work of Sonay Kartal as the number one seed prevailed 6-1, 6-2. The Belarusian won 74% of her first serve points to win the match in 72 minutes and advance to just her second quarter-finals at Indian Wells.

00:15 CET - Madison Keys continues her fine start to 2025 as she defeats Donna Vekic 4-6, 7-6 (7), 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals. Despite being broken thrice in the match, the Australian Open champion battled back from a set down for the second match in a row.

23:03 CET - Ninth seed Alex De Minaur is out of Indian Wells! The Australian has been defeated by Francisco Cerundolo in straight sets. The Argentinian 25th seed won the encounter 7-5, 6-3 to progress into the tournament's last eight.

21:30 CET - Belinda Bencic's remarkable return to the WTA Tour shows no sign of slowing down, stunning Coco Gauff in Indian Wells 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to book her spot in the quarter-finals.

18:46 CET - After a titanic first set, Ben Shelton powered through to the Indian Wells quarter-finals with a 7-6(6), 6-1 victory over fellow American Brandon Nakashima. It is his fourth win in four matches against Nakashima, and he now awaits the winner of Taylor Fritz and Jack Draper, who play a little later today.

19:10 CET - We are underway at Indian Wells, with American hopefuls Coco Gauff and Ben Shelton both in early action - follow the action from Gauff's match against Belinda Bencic here.

17:30 CET - Welcome back to the Tennis Tracker this evening, with the last fourth round matches coming up from Indian Wells. We have some fantastic early matches on the women's side of the draw, with Coco Gauff facing Belinda Bencic to start the day off and Madison Keys taking on Donna Vekic soon after.

Aryna Sabalenka will also take on surprise package Sonay Kartal, while Jasmine Paolini is also in action.

Jack Draper and Taylor Fritz go head to head in a really exciting clash in the third match of the day on centre court, while Alex De Minaur and Ben Shelton will also be eyeing up spots in the quarters.

And taking centre stage in the night session is Carlos Alcaraz, who comes up against Grigor Dimitrov. The former leads the head-to-head 3-2, but interestingly, Dimitrov has won their last two meetings.
