After a dramatic couple of days at Wimbledon with several of the star names exiting the tournament, the second round gets underway today as Carlos Alcaraz, Aryna Sabalenka and Taylor Fritz all take to the court.

23:51 CET - That is all from the Tennis Tracker today, so make sure you tune in tomorrow for day four of Wimbledon!

23:23 CET - Taylor Fritz has been pushed to the absolute limit yet again, with the fifth seed being taken to five sets for the second match in a row. However, the American's quality eventually told, overcoming the big-serving Gabriel Diallo 3-6, 6-3, 7-6(0), 4-6, 6-3 to end the day's play.

22:20 CET - Play has now been suspended on all the outside courts due to darkness, with Taylor Fritz vs Gabriel Diallo the only match still ongoing on No.1 Court with the roof closed. Fritz is currently two sets to one up but a break down in the fourth set.

21:36 CET - Another seed has gone tumbling out, with Queen's finalist Jiri Lehecka falling 7-6(1), 6-1, 7-5 at the hands of Mattia Bellucci. Carlos Alcaraz's draw continues to get easier.

Speaking of seeds losing, the 31st seed Ashlyn Krueger was beaten 7-6(4), 6-4 in a tense two-setter by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

21:06 CET - Elina Svitolina continues to be such a consistent player, and she is now into the third round after a comfortable 6-2, 6-4 win over Aliaksandra Sasnovich.

Meanwhile, Daniil Medvedev's conqueror, Benjamin Bonzi, has been defeated by Jordan Thompson in a thriller, 7-5, 6-7(2), 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.

20:55 CET - A tournament of huge upsets just keeps delivering, and this time it is last year's runner-up, Jasmine Paolini, who has been dumped out! The Italian fourth seed has been stunned by Kamilla Rakhimova, losing 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in two hours and 20 minutes.

20:50 CET - British number one Emma Raducanu has just claimed a fabulous win on home soil, swatting aside 2023 champion Marketa Vondrousova with some of her best tennis in a while, 6-3, 6-3, to set up a third-round meeting with world number one Aryna Sabalenka.

19:56 CET - Naomi Osaka is through to the third round at Wimbledon for the first time since 2018 after a convincing 6-3, 6-2 victory over Katerina Siniakova, while Diane Parry has stunned 12th seed Diana Shnaider in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1.

19:38 CET - Linda Noskova is the latest woman to progress, with the Czech recovering from a second-set wobble to defeat Eva Lys 6-2, 2-6, 6-3.

Meanwhile, home hope Katie Boulter has been dumped out after a disappointing 7-6(7), 2-6, 1-6 defeat to Solana Sierra.

19:21 CET - Talented American Amanda Anisimova has continued her impressive grass-court form with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph against Renata Zarazua, while Elise Mertens and Dalma Galfi are also through in the women's draw.

19:02 CET - Two-time defending champion Carlos Alcaraz has coasted into the third round, with the Spaniard proving way too strong for Brit Oliver Tarvet in a routine 6-1, 6-4, 6-4 victory.

18:23 CET - Men's 14th seed Andrey Rublev is through after recovering from a set down to defeat Lloyd Harris 6-7(1), 6-4, 7-6(5), 6-3.

Elsewhere, Karen Khachanov survived a scare to see off Shintaro Mochizuki 1-6, 7-6(7), 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, while Adrian Mannarino and Nuno Borges have also progressed to the third round.

17:30 CET - Teenage sensation Joao Fonseca is the latest man to progress at the All England Club, with the Brazilian battling past the in-form Jenson Brooksby in four sets, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4.

17:12 CET - Home favourite and 2022 semi-finalist Cameron Norrie is through to the third round after an outstanding 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 7-5 victory over 12th seed Frances Tiafoe.

17:03 CET - On the men's side of the tournament, Brandon Nakashima has finally completed a hard-fought 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(1), 6-4 triumph over China's Yunchaokete Bu after their first-round clash was held over from last night.

16:50 CET - Laura Siegemund and Cristina Bucsa have progressed this afternoon after impressive straight-set victories over 29th seed Leylah Fernandez and 22nd seed Donna Vekic respectively. 

Another two notable names in the women's draw bite the dust...

16:16 CET - Women's top seed Aryna Sabalenka is safely through to the third round after seeing off the challenge of Marie Bouzkova 7-6(4), 6-4 in a high-quality affair on Centre Court.

16:01 CET - Nicolas Jarry has backed up his stunning opening-round win over Holger Rune, seeing off American Learner Tien with very little trouble 6-2, 6-2, 6-3 to move into the Wimbledon third round. The six-foot-seven Chilean looks in good form.

15:32 CET - Australian Open champion Madison Keys made light work of Olga Danilovic, securing her spot in the third round with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over her Serbian opponent.

15:20 CET - Home favourite Sonay Kartal is the first winner of the day at Wimbledon, cruising past Viktoriya Tomova in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to book her spot in the third round.

14:18 CET - We're finally underway for the day, with home favourite Cameron Norrie facing 12th seed Frances Tiafoe on Court One, while play is also getting started on the outside courts as Madison Keys and Joao Fonseca look to move into the third round.

09:00 CET - We’re just a few hours away from play getting started at Wimbledon for the day, as Australian Open champion Madison Keys takes on Olga Danilovic and rising star Joao Fonseca comes up against the in-form Jenson Brooksby.

Karen Khachanov, Leylah Fernandez and Brit Sonay Kartal also take to the court at 12:00 CET.

Having seen eight of the top 10 men and women dumped out of the tournament in the opening round, it’s been an enthralling start to the week at Wimbledon as we look ahead to another jam-packed day.

Today’s action on Centre Court sees women’s top seed Aryna Sabalenka take on Marie Bouzkova at 14:30 CET, before Carlos Alcaraz takes on Brit Oliver Tarvet and defending champion Marketa Vondrousova faces home favourite Emma Raducanu.

Elsewhere, Taylor Fritz continues his hunt for a maiden Grand Slam title against Gabriel Diallo on Court One, while Madison Keys, Frances Tiafoe and Jasmine Paolini are among the other big names in action.
