Flashscore News expands the coverage of the sports we have in our ‘scores’ section, but also adds further coverage of the sports that matter to you.
You can look forward to original articles, opinions, analysis and interviews from top voices from our dedicated newsrooms and our plans certainly don't end there.
In the coming months we will add video and infographics and we also plan to link more articles to specific matches and competitions to give you the coverage every sports fan deserves.
In the first phase, we are drawing on the agency resources we have contracted for this purpose. These are reputable news agencies - AFP, Reuters and others.
“We will focus on the most popular sports, led by football and tennis," explains Alan Zaruba, content director of Livesport, Flashscore’s parent company.
"A significant part will be our own original content in the form of interviews or commentaries.
“In the long term, we want to build a comprehensive sports information service where sports fans will have everything in one place, including audio and video content," he adds.
The sports news service is currently in pilot operation and can be found exclusively on the website Flashscore.com. A plan to add it to the Android and iOS apps in the coming months is in the works and is planned to be launched in the near future.
