Amen signed a five-year, $208 million deal with the Houston Rockets back on September 3rd, while Ausar signed a five-year, $155 million deal with the Detroit Pistons on Friday.
Both Amen (2024) and Ausar (2025) are both All-Defensive forwards coming off career years for one reason or another.
Amen, 23, finished last season with a career-high in points per game (18.3), assists per game (5.3), steals per game (1.5), and free throw percentage (77.9%). Meanwhile, Ausar, 23, is the reigning steals champion after averaging 2.0 per game.
He finished third in Defensive Player of the Year voting, while also averaging 9.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. Amen, despite having more of a down year defensively, still finished eighth in DPOTY voting last season.
Both were selected 4th (Amen) and 5th (Ausar) overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, becoming the first brothers duo ever to be drafted top five in the same draft.
