The All-Pro back is receiving a record $51 million in guaranteed money and $22.25 million in yearly base salary, beating out Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley ($20.5 million).
His deal also includes a $27 million signing bonus.
Robinson's extension is the fourth to come from the Falcons this offseason. The team also signed wide receiver Drake London (four years, $141.05 million), tight end Kyle Pitts (three years, $54 million), and guard Matthew Bergeron (four years, $96 million).
The former No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 draft led the NFL in scrimmage yards last season (2,298) after putting up the fourth most rushing yards (1,478) and second-most receiving yards (820) among running backs.
"There's no shortage in what he can do for the football team on the field," said head coach Kevin Stefanski. "But, also, the person that he is off the field and what he brings to our locker room and to the question earlier about culture and being a player-driven culture, he's a driver of that just because of how he attacks each day."
Robinson is now coming off back-to-back seasons with at least 1,400 rushing yards and 10 total touchdowns. He set a career-best in 2024 with 14 rushing touchdowns (compared to seven in 2025). Now, the Falcons have locked up their All-Pro running back, resetting the RB market as the league awaits what the Detroit Lions will give their superstar running back, Jahmyr Gibbs.
