Reigning Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain made it to their second final in two years after a blockbuster double-header with Bayern. Football legend David Beckham, who used to play for PSG himself, shared a brilliant insight into the approach of head coach Luis Enrique, who turned Les Parisiens into the dominant team that they are now.

In a post-match studio on Paramount+ following PSG's 1-1 draw with Bayern, Beckham praised the young team Enrique has built and their togetherness. Then he let fans in on the Spanish coach's dedication.

"I spoke to the president of PSG Nasser Al-Khelaifi at PSG. He said in the first year, Luis Enrique virtually slept every night at the training facility," Beckham revealed.

"He was working on how he wants the team to look, how he wants the team to play, who he wants, what the future looks like," he explained.

Beckham added the president told him he's never seen work ethic quite like this from any other coach: "He wants them all at the level par, all wanting the same thing. He's bringing these young players through. He also wants players that are just going to run and not stop. And that's what he's got, that's what he's built."

This season, PSG are six points clear of challengers Lens at the top of the Ligue 1 table. They have a chance to defend their Champions League crown when they meet Arsenal in the final in Budapest on May 30th.
